A small town that grew fast
Buda kept its small downtown while new subdivisions went up around it. That mix matters for roofing: older houses near the center of town often have steeper roofs, more valleys, and flashing details that need careful work, while newer homes tend to have simpler rooflines but builder-grade materials.
We look at what your house actually has instead of assuming, and we tell you plainly what we find.
What wears roofs out here
Buda roofs take the same beating as the rest of Hays County: hail in the spring, long stretches of hundred-degree sun in the summer, and wind that works shingle edges loose over time. Heat is the quiet one. It dries out sealant and makes shingles brittle, so the next storm does more damage than it should.
After a hail or wind storm, check what you can from the ground:
- Shingles that are missing, lifted, folded, or sitting in the yard.
- Dents on gutters, downspouts, vents, and the AC unit, a sign hail hit the house.
- Piles of shingle granules at the bottom of the downspouts.
- Bent or loose flashing around the chimney and roof edges.
- New water stains on ceilings or around upstairs windows.
- Stay on the ground. Don’t climb a wet or damaged roof. Take photos from the yard and call us.
Repair or replace
A leaking pipe boot or a strip of loose flashing is a repair, and we treat it like one. When the whole roof is curling, shedding granules, or leaking in new places after each storm, patching stops making sense, and we explain why. We install shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofs.
Insurance after a storm
We inspect storm and hail damage, document what we find with photos, and can meet your adjuster at the house. We don’t file or negotiate your claim, and nobody can promise what insurance will pay. The claim stays between you and your insurance company.
