A town that keeps growing
Hutto has been adding neighborhoods for years, and its roofs range from brand-new to a few decades old. Newer homes often carry builder-grade shingles that wear sooner than expected, while the older parts of town have roofs that have simply seen a lot of Texas summers.
Either way, the only way to know a roof’s real condition is to look at it up close. That look is free.
Wind across the blackland prairie
Hutto sits on open, flat land, and wind crosses it with little to break it. Strong gusts catch shingle edges and ridges, and hail storms that track along this side of Williamson County can bruise shingles across a whole neighborhood in one evening. After a storm, check from the ground:
- Shingles that are missing, lifted, folded, or sitting in the yard.
- Dents on gutters, downspouts, vents, and the AC unit, a sign hail hit the house.
- Piles of shingle granules at the bottom of the downspouts.
- Bent or loose flashing around the chimney and roof edges.
- New water stains on ceilings or around upstairs windows.
- Stay on the ground. Don’t climb a wet or damaged roof. Take photos from the yard and call us.
Repair or replace
If it’s a few shingles or a flashing, we repair it. If the roof is worn out across every slope, we tell you that too, and why. We install shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofs, and we also handle gutters, siding, and fences.
Insurance
We inspect storm and hail damage, document what we find with photos, and can meet your adjuster at the house. We don’t file or negotiate your claim, and nobody can promise what insurance will pay. The claim stays between you and your insurance company.
