A roofing company based in Kyle
Kyle has grown from a small railroad town into one of the fastest-growing cities in Hays County, and whole neighborhoods have gone up in the last twenty years. We live and work here, so when you call, you’re talking to a local crew, not a company driving in from hours away.
Being based here also means we’ve seen what Central Texas weather does to the roofs in these neighborhoods, season after season: spring hail, hard summer sun, and the occasional ice storm that catches everyone off guard.
Newer subdivisions, builder-grade shingles
Many Kyle homes were built quickly during growth years, and builder-grade shingles don’t always age as well as homeowners expect. If your roof is ten to fifteen years old, it’s worth knowing where it stands, even without a leak.
Common finds on these roofs: cracked pipe boots, shingles losing granules early, and attic ventilation that runs hot and cooks the shingles from below. None of these are emergencies by themselves, but catching them early keeps a repair small.
Hail along the I-35 corridor
Hays County gets its share of spring hail. Hail bruises shingles without always leaving a visible hole, and wind breaks the seal that holds shingle tabs flat. After a storm, walk around the house and check from the ground:
- Shingles that are missing, lifted, folded, or sitting in the yard.
- Dents on gutters, downspouts, vents, and the AC unit, a sign hail hit the house.
- Piles of shingle granules at the bottom of the downspouts.
- Bent or loose flashing around the chimney and roof edges.
- New water stains on ceilings or around upstairs windows.
- Stay on the ground. Don’t climb a wet or damaged roof. Take photos from the yard and call us.
Repair, replace, or wait
If the problem is one slope, a vent, or a piece of flashing, we fix that and tell you so. If the shingles are worn across the whole roof, we explain why a replacement makes more sense. And if the roof is fine for now, we say that too.
We install shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofs, and we handle gutters, siding, windows, fences, and chimney repair, so one visit can cover the whole outside of the house.
Storm damage and insurance
We inspect storm and hail damage, document what we find with photos, and can meet your adjuster at the house. We don’t file or negotiate your claim, and nobody can promise what insurance will pay. The claim stays between you and your insurance company.
