Newer roofs still need a look
A lot of Leander is new construction, and new doesn’t always mean trouble-free. Builder-grade shingles, pipe boots that crack early in the Texas heat, and attic ventilation that wasn’t balanced well can all shorten a roof’s life. None of these are dramatic, but they’re cheap to fix when caught early.
If your home is a few years old and nobody has ever looked at the roof up close, a free inspection tells you where you stand.
Open land and wind
Neighborhoods on the edge of town sit next to open fields, and wind comes across them with nothing to slow it down. That wind works at shingle edges and ridges first. Once a few shingles lift and their seal breaks, the next storm peels more. After a wind storm, check from the ground:
- Shingles that are missing, lifted, folded, or sitting in the yard.
- Dents on gutters, downspouts, vents, and the AC unit, a sign hail hit the house.
- Piles of shingle granules at the bottom of the downspouts.
- Bent or loose flashing around the chimney and roof edges.
- New water stains on ceilings or around upstairs windows.
- Stay on the ground. Don’t climb a wet or damaged roof. Take photos from the yard and call us.
Repair or replace
On a newer roof, the answer is usually a repair, and we treat it that way. On an older roof that’s worn across every slope, we explain why replacement makes more sense. We install shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofs.

FAQ
Questions.
Is the roof inspection free?
Yes. We come to the house, look at the roof, and give you an honest answer on what it needs. No charge for the visit. Se habla español.
Do you repair roofs, or only replace them?
Both. If a few slopes or a flashing can be fixed, we say so. If the roof is done, we say that too. You get the honest answer, not a sales pitch.
Do you help with hail damage and insurance?
Yes. We inspect storm and hail damage, document what we find with photos, and can meet your adjuster at the house. We don’t file or negotiate your claim, and nobody can promise what insurance will pay. Repair or replace, depending on what the roof needs.
How long does a new roof take?
Most houses are started and finished in one day. Bigger roofs and steep jobs can take longer. We tell you the days before we start, and we leave the yard clean.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Licensed and insured for residential and commercial work. We can show proof before we start. Certificate of insurance available on request.
How do I know if hail damaged my roof?
Hail bruises shingles and knocks off the granules that protect them, and it dents gutters, vents, and AC units. From the street a bruised shingle can look fine, so the sure way to know is a close look. We inspect for free and photograph what we find.
Should a roofer meet my insurance adjuster?
It helps. We can meet your adjuster at the house and show them what we documented with photos. The claim itself stays between you and your insurance company, and nobody can promise what insurance will pay.
What should I do after a hail storm in Leander?
Stay on the ground and walk around the house. Look for shingles in the yard, dents on gutters and vents, and granules at the downspouts, and take photos with the date. Then call or text us for a free inspection, and call your insurance company if you think there’s damage.
